1. Makes me appreciate the beauty of creation.
Nature leaves me spell-bounded. Huge rocks formed on its own, stunning wild flowers and gigantic mountains as we approached the shore. I just can’t be convinced that all of these happened by accident. A creator, an energy, a force; I don’t know with you, but Someone or Something great is behind all of these.
2. Draws me away from city’s hustle and bustle.
Though the city has so many grand stuff to offer, we all need a break. Nature is one of the best ways I know to disconnect. Far from the noisy sound of vehicles and murmuring people in every corner, nature is a place where less is more.
3. Reminds me that we are all connected.
Down from the ground, up to the blooming flowers. Then there came the bees and (fast forward) the honey jar in your kitchen. We are inevitably connected to each other. And maybe that is what life all about – connections.
4. Gives me a humbling realization.
5. Recharges my senses.
The chirping sound by the morning, the cold water from the stream and the fresh air that I breathe. These things with the peaceful atmosphere give my senses more focus. I don’t have to be in a hurry, I just need to be in the moment. I go back to the city with my senses revived.
